The front of the Allen Bradley 2711P-RN10H features two BNC female sockets and one NAP adjustment port. The back is a gold finger slot, and there are also two fixing screws beside it. The interior of the card is actually a complete compressed version of the 1756-CNB architecture, with independent CPU and storage, and does not occupy the memory of the HMI host. The entire card weighs only 85 grams and has a power consumption of less than 3W. After being plugged in, the temperature of the main unit basically does not rise.
Unlike other communication cards, the Allen Bradley 2711P-RN10H has one more NAP port than the RN6. During on-site debugging, you can directly plug in the laptop to view the entire network topology. It is a bit more expensive than the Ethernet card RN20, but many backbone networks in American factories still use ControlNet. Plugging in the RN10H with zero configuration saves several weeks compared to modifying the program to switch to Ethernet. The card is equipped with hardware MAC address locking to prevent others from passing off the RN10C as one (it looks exactly the same but has no redundant functions).
