The distributed I/O hard wiring requires shock-proof terminals. The Allen Bradley 1734-TOPS uses spring compression for anti-loosening. It was purchased from Hanyite Automation Technology for purchase to the Factory. The entire series is guaranteed to be brand new and in stock.
Under the condition of high-density distributed I/O arrangement, traditional screw terminal modules are prone to loosen due to vibration and the wiring process takes a long time. The Allen Bradley 1734-TOPS adopts spring compression technology, supporting direct insertion of 14AWG wires, compatible with 24V DC on-site power supply, and seamlessly connects with the 1734-AENT adapter on the back panel, completely avoiding the risks of hard wiring and false connection.
After Hanyite Automation Technology coordinated with Suppliers for Bulk procurement, all these terminals are brand new and in stock, effectively ensuring the rapid assembly of production line electrical control cabinets and the timely delivery of spare parts.
Core Benefits
The on-site wiring adopts spring compression technology instead of traditional screw fixation, significantly reducing the hard-wired wiring time of the control cabinet and eliminating the potential problem of terminal loosening caused by vibration.
The module base supports hot-swappable operation with power-on. When replacing terminal components, the system main power supply does not need to be disconnected, greatly reducing the maintenance cost for production lines.
The overall track occupancy is extremely small, allowing for high-density arrangement in a space-constrained motor control center, improving the utilization of electrical cabinet space.
The wiring base and electronic module have a separate architecture. When damaged, only the terminal part needs to be replaced while retaining the core components, effectively controlling spare parts inventory and maintenance costs.
Compatibility and Integration
This terminal module is specifically designed for the PointBus expansion architecture. In terms of hardware physical interfaces, it seamlessly integrates with the 1734-AENT adapter, requiring no additional communication gateway and can be directly mounted on the Ethernet control network. At the system integration level, the Allen Bradley 1734-TOPS serves as the on-site I/O terminal connector, transmitting hard-wired signals without attenuation through the backplane bus to the system module. It perfectly fits the CompactLogix and ControlLogix controller systems.
Engineers only need to configure the corresponding I/O module in the tree-like directory of Studio 5000 software, and the system will automatically map the wiring channel address of this base, enabling plug-and-play data communication with third-party sensors or actuators.
Human-computer interaction
The front of the Allen Bradley 1734-TOPS is equipped with prominent channel-level LED status indicator lights. Maintenance personnel can intuitively determine the connection status of each signal and whether the on-site wiring is abnormal within the limited space of the control cabinet. During debugging or troubleshooting, operators can connect to the maintenance computer via the RS-232 serial interface on the top of the module, directly read the diagnostic information of the underlying bus, and do not need to remove the wiring terminals or power off and disassemble the module.
The terminal insertion and removal mechanism is equipped with anti-mistake clasps and clear wire number markings, ensuring that when replacing the base while energized, there will be no incorrect insertion or misalignment, significantly improving the accuracy of on-site repair and circuit calibration operations.
Product Construction
Terminal Base:
Adopting a plug-in type spring terminal design, it supports the maximum 14AWG wire. It is directly locked onto the 1734 DIN rail mounting base through the bottom slot, enabling quick insertion and direct hard-wired electrical connection.
Insulation Shell:
Made of industrial-grade flame-retardant polymer material, the surface is coated with a chemical-resistant layer. The compact and narrow design has a width of only 15mm, effectively saving the space for track arrangement in the control cabinet.
Status Window:
A transparent indication area is embedded above the module's front surface. The internal LED light tubes pass through the light holes on the panel and directly reflect the operating status and channel connection status, facilitating vertical observation within the cabinet.
Installation Locking Mechanism:
A self-locking snap-in mechanism is equipped at the bottom, allowing the Allen Bradley 1734-TOPS to be securely snapped into the standard 35mm DIN track without the need for screw fixation. It will not loosen even under strong seismic conditions.
